Info from Licensor: "While on my daughter's first-grade field trip to GoneWild Safari, we were told that the female giraffe was in labor. Luckily, we were able to video it and captured the moment on video. Because my daughter's school was there at the time and the name of her school is Buckeye Elementary School they decided to name the new baby boy giraffe Buckeye."
