Man arrested with gas in NYC Cathedral appears in handcuffs

The man who was arrested after walking into St Patrick's Cathedral in NYC with a canister full of gas and lighters is ushered out of Midtown North police precinct in handcuffs.

The man identified as Marc Lamparello claimed he was making as shortcut through the church but security officers didn't buy the story.

Footage shows Mr. Lamparello, handcuffed, walking out of Midtown North police precinct NYC and into a police car.

Journalists shout questions at Mr Lamparello as he is ushered into the car but he does not respond to the questions.
