Man rescued from 50-foot well in India after two days

This is the moment a man was rescued on Saturday from a 50-foot-deep well in a remote part of southern India.

Businessman Madipelli Mogili skidded off the road two days earlier on his bike and fell into the water source in a village near Warangal.

Luckily, he survived the fall with only minor injuries but when he shouted for help, no-one heard him.

Eventually, a farmer walking past the well on Saturday heard Mogili's shouts.

A team of rescuers lowered ropes and Mogili managed to climb to safety.

He was reported to be dehydrated and was taken to hospital for treatment.
