Massive Mayfly Hatch Swarms around Fishermen

Occurred on approximately June 2021 / Brainerd, Minnesota, USA

Info from Licensor: "Massive bug (mayfly) hatch just after sunset on Lake Edwards in Central MN. They spend 99% of their life underwater, and once they emerge…they typically live just long enough (<24 hours) to mate. Mayflies are actually a sign of a healthy ecosystem. We were all just coming in at the end of a walleye fishing tournament. The fish were feeding like crazy! But I wouldn’t go out the next day because the fish would be stuffed full of mayflies — they love to gorge themselves on them, instead of your bait or lure."
