Naughty student climbs onto escalator handrail and falls one storey

A student climbed onto an escalator handrail and fell one storey in a Chinese mall.

The terrifying video, filmed in Dongguan City in southern Guangdong Province last Friday (December 14), shows a boy in a school uniform walking to a closed escalator and climbing onto the handrail.

However, he suddenly loses his balance and slips down from third floor to the second floor.

After a while, the boy’s parents and the mall staff arrived on site and paramedics started to rescue him.

He was sent to the intensive care unit for treatment that night and his condition was unknown.

Police are investigating the case, reports said.
