New Jersey Senate Bob Menendez takes stage after election victory

Democrat Bob Menendez's victory in the election race against Republican Bob Hugin was announced on November 6, securing for him a third term in the Senate.

In the video, Menendez can be seen stepping up on stage as supporters chanted "three more years!"

The results come after a bitter re-election campaign that followed a mistrial in a corruption case, which saw Menendez indicted for allegedly accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars in gifts and bribes. He then responded by calling to attention Hugin's track record of raising drug prices when he was an executive at Celgene, and his ties to Trump in the majority Democratic state.
