Parade of cars decorated with giant ornaments drive through Indonesian city for Eid al-Fitr
This decorative car festival held yesterday evening (June 4) was greeted enthusiastically by the citizens of the city of Padang, western Indonesia, for the Eid al-Fitr festival.
Uniquely-shaped cars decorated from ships to giant fruits participated in the festival the as part of the Eid al-Fitr celebrations set by the Indonesian government for June 5.
The festival, a public holiday in the country, marks the end of Ramadan with a grand feast after the traditional time of fasting for Muslims.
