Pedestrians watch on as truck topples off cliff during landslide in northern India


A truck topples into a gorge as landslide triggered by heavy rain hits a town in northern India.

Fortunately, no one was present inside the vehicle when the incident took place on August 18.

At least 31 people were killed and hundreds of tourists were left stranded as torrential rains in the hill states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand triggered flash floods and landslides.
