Pilot skilfully lands Airbus A380 despite near-50mph winds at Manchester Airport

A plane lands at Manchester Airport after being buffeted by crosswinds of up to 40 knots (46mph) this afternoon (January 27).

The pilot of the Emirates Airbus A380, the world's largest passenger plane, struggled to land the aircraft in stormy weather as crosswinds hit the plane, causing it to shake.

Eventually the pilot lands the plane safely.
