Planes land sideways at Bristol Airport during Storm Callum

Powerful winds from the remnants of Storm Callum blew across the runway at Bristol Airport and caused these two planes to land sideways.

Footage captured on October 13 shows an Easyjet and a Thomas Cook aircrafts being swept from side-to-side by crosswinds.

The filmer writes: ‘’The worst of Storm Callum at Bristol Airport was on Friday (October 12) the but in the next day strong winds continued to cause diversions, cancellations and some wobbly landings.

''This Easyjet Airbus A320 experienced a wobbly touchdown as well as this Thomas Cook Airbus A321 that was buffeted by a strong crosswind gust.''
