Power Surges into Storm Damaged Tree

Occurred on October 17, 2019 / Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada

Info from Licensor: "Hurricane Dorian blew through in September which weakened a lot of the trees in the area. A windstorm with gusts up to 90 km/h came through which caused a tree to lean on to the power line. I was watching it on and off for about two hours as tree limbs would catch fire and fall off, then the arcing you see in the video occurred and I was lucky to be filming at the time. It blew up the majority of the appliances in the houses on the street."
