Powerful wind and rainstorm batter Anhui in China, killing two

Eastern China's Ma'anshan City was battered by powerful wind and rainstorms yesterday, with two dead and ten hospitalised.

The clip shows the strong wind, which reached over 90mph and the aftermath video of collapsed sheds, billboards, a tower crane and many trees.

The disaster caused power failures, affecting 140,000 households, 27-square-kilometre fields and 45.5 million yuan (5.2 million pounds) economic loss.

The weather marked some of the strongest winds recorded in the city.
