Protesters at Home Office welcome refugees and migrants
UK pressure group Stand Up To Racism and crisis charity Care4Calais protest outside the Home Office in London Monday evening against the alleged “scapegoating” of refugees and migrants.
The demonstration was called following recent migrant Channel crossings and the widely-covered arrival of eight people who crossed to Dungeness from France in an inflatable dinghy undetected.
The demonstrators say refugees and migrants are welcome in the UK.
