Rescuing a Cow from a Flooded River

Occurred on January 27, 2019 / Wonga, Queensland, Australia

Info from Licensor: Myself and my mate were taking the dory out to drop me off at Cow Bay Beach because there was no other way to get home due to the worst flooding in 100 years. We were about 3 miles out when we came across a cow, and as soon as it saw us it just wanted to climb into the boat. We thought we needed to save it and take it back, so we got an anchor rope and tied it around its belly and neck then pulled it up beside the boat. We slowly towed it back to the beach where we had organized a couple of mates for the rescue.
