Residential house collapses as flash flooding hits China's Jianghua


A two-storey residential house collapsed at 17:00 local time on Thursday (June 13) as flash floods hit southern China.

The terrifying video, shot in Jianghua Yao Autonomous County in Hunan Province, shows a house suddenly cracking and falling down into a flooded river.

Fortunately, people in the house had been evacuated before the incident happened, no one was injured.

According to reports, the water increased dramatically in Tuo River because of the rainstorm, causing the nearby house to be swept away.
