Robot waitress greets and serves customers at Indian restaurant
A humanoid robot is used to greet and bring customers their meals at a restaurant in Guwahati, India.
The robot, dressed in a traditional Sattriya dress, is used largely to attract customers as shown in the footage filmed on August 27.
The designer of the robot, who also owns the restaurant, says: "Families enjoy the courtesy and novelty of being served by the robot."
