Safari tourists get "photo-bombed" by a lion

This is the incredible moment this week when a lion "photo-bombed" a group of tourists who had stopped their vehicles in the middle of Kruger National Park in South Africa.

The two groups of visitors were chatting through the windows of their vehicles when a lion suddenly darted into the frame behind them to snatch a kill from some vultures.

"We were en route to Lower Sabie Camp when we stopped to have a look at the vultures on a kill and to have a chat to the folks in the Audi when next minute a female lion photo bombs the scene," wrote the filmer.

"The lioness then took the Impala kill and ran away to feed in peace," the filmer added.

"What an exciting moment!" the filmer said.
