Scooter driver narrowly escapes being run over by lorry

A scooter driver was nearly run over by a lorry after being knocked down in a crash in southeastern China.

The shocking video, filmed in Xinyu City in Jiangxi Province on November 22, shows a lorry knocking down a scooter and dragging it forward for several metres before throwing it clear. The scooter rider was knocked down and skidded alongside his vehicle.

Luckily, the lorry stopped just before one of its wheels stopped less than 0.1 metres away from the rider.

Fortunately, the scooter rider only suffered scratches, while the cause of the accident was being investigated by authorities.
