Seal Gives Birth While Seagull Watches On

Info from Licensor: "A harbor seal gave birth on the beach at Children's Pool in La Jolla, Califonia. We noticed a seagull hovering around the back of a seal and quickly figured it was waiting on a placenta snack. Within 15 minutes the baby crowned and was born shortly thereafter. The mama gives the baby a reassuring 'pat pat pat' before having to fend off the gulls looking for the afterbirth."
