Senator Robert Menendez of New Jersey greeted attendees at a luncheon hosted by Pasaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik in Paterson, New Jersey on November 5, 2018.

After an introduction by Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, Sen. Robert Menendez says: “You just heard from someone who could be the next president of the United States.”

Menendez was campaigning for re-election during the lunch. He led rival Bob Hugin (R) by 15 points in a poll released Monday.
