Shops on river edge collapse and get washed away in central Indian floods

Floods in central India have devastated swathes of the countryside, including this incredible video of a riverside shop-front that was swept away in the roiling waters.

In Kukreshwar, Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh state, the video was caught on August 16 of multiple shops collapsing into a canal in mere seconds as the banks gave way.

A number of wooden and tin shop stalls were lost though no casualties have been reported in the incident.

According to locals the boundary wall of the canal was damaged due to the floodwater.
