Sizzling heat wave used by man to fry eggs in east India
A man cooked an egg on the road using only the power of the sun to demonstrate the powerful heatwave that was sweeping the east Indian state of Odisha.
The man, from the town of Baripada town of Mayurbhanj district, was filmed on May 12 cooking an omelette on a steel plate, with the sun reportedly heating it to "ready to eat in under a minute".
Temperatures in Baripada were observed rising up to 46 to 47 degrees Celsius.
