Stalled Truck Causes Collision

Info from Licensor: A friend had stopped to on the shoulder of the freeway (Southbound i-15) and was flashing a flashlight. I thought he needed help and I pulled over to the right and then I noticed there was a semi on the lane I was on. It could have been me because I didn't see it until I was that close. It was dark at 6 am. I stopped the car and my friend came running to get out of the car and get a flashlight so we could go to warn others coming. As I was getting out of the car the red car came zooming by and crashed into the flatbed semi. We thought he was dead, but you can then see him getting out of the car and sitting on the ground. He was covered in blood and was disoriented. The semi was stalled because it had mechanical problems but it was across the two right lanes and didn't have any orange cones or warning signs.
