Steam Engine Sends Up Sparks

Occurred on August 16, 2019 / Pinckneyville, Illinois, USA

Info from Licensor: "The video is of a 1911 Case Steam engine using 110 horsepower to pull a sled used for tractor pulling. This event took place on August 16, 2019, in Pinckneyville, Illinois at the American Threshermans Association tractor pull. The steam engine pulled the weighted down sled to the end and past the 300-foot mark or the full pull mark and kept going to the end of the track. It was able to do this with little effort and did not struggle. The red embers coming from the stacks are not normal for regular use of a steam engine. Sawdust is added in the coal box to add a sparks show at night. When the steam engine finishes, it lets out a victory whistle and the crowd loves it!"
