Student does surprise K-pop dance after receiving degree at graduation ceremony

A student was cheered on by classmates at a graduation ceremony - when he broke out in a k-pop dance.

Jose Dorado, 23, was on stage collecting his degree in clothing technology at the University of the Philippines.

The graduate amazed his fellow students when he busted moves to the popular song during his graduation ceremony on Quezon City, the Philippines on June 29.

He danced to Korean pop girl group Blackpink's "Kill This Love" on his way down the stage in front of his schoolmates and teachers.

Dorado said: "I did that to celebrate my graduation. I will only get to that stage once, might as well do something fun and crazy."

Locals said it was unusual to see such flamboyance at the normally formal ceremonies where students collect their degrees.
