Survivors hold memorial on anniversary of Guatemala volcano tragedy


A memorial service was held in the memory of those who lost their lives in the eruption of the Volcan de Fuego in Guatemala last year.

Volcan de Fuego erupted in June last year, killing at least 200 people.

Footage shows survivors gathering at San Miguel Los Lotes in Escuintla, one of the most affected communities on June 3.

Families are still searching for their loved ones’ remains a year after the catastrophe.
