Teachers use tables to build bridge so students can walk across flooded courtyard in China

Teachers used tables to build a bridge for students to walk across the flooded courtyard to take part in China's famous university entrance exam.

In the video, filmed in Shangrao City in southern China's Jiangxi Province on June 7, several teachers stand on tables while trying to extend the makeshift bridge across the courtyard.

Another clip shows students walked on top of the 'table bridge' to get into the exam hall one-by-one.

It was the first day of the national university entrance exam. Due to a rainstorm, parts of Yushan No.1 High School was submerged in floodwater.
