Team effort between officers and firefighters to rescue deer in distress
Ramapo Police responded to 256 N. Pascack Rd., in the Hillcrest area of the town, for a report of a deer stuck in a fence. The arriving officers were unable to free the deer and requested assistance from the Hillcrest Fire Company No. 1. FD used the ‘jaws of life’ to separate the fence and free the deer.
