Touching moment two Filipino schoolboys help their classmate with cerebral palsy during break time

This the sweet moment two young pupils take care of their classmate who suffers from cerebral palsy.

Yuan Jimenez, seven, (left) and Karl Paguio, five, (right) were seen taking turns giving snacks to Hans Erlasan, eight, as he sat in his wheelchair.

Jimenez gives the disabled boy crisps while Paguio checks he is comfortable and adjusts a fan so he stays cool in the hot weather.

The touching act of kindness was witnessed at break time by their teacher Christine Lopez inside their classroom in Moauaque Resettlement Elementary School in Mabalacat town, Pampanga, Philippines on June 25.

The three boys are all classmates in the special education class.

Christine said she had been instructing the two boys to help Hans feel more comfortable during the class. But she was touched when she saw them do it on their own, keeping him company at break time even though she did not ask them to help that day.

She said: "That day, they did it even if I have not told them to do so yet. That's why I felt very happy."

Hans' mother, Jocelyn Erlasan, knew of the video and thanked the teacher for being a good role model for her class. She said: "Thank you teacher Tin and classmates, now I know why Hans loves going to school every day."
