Tropical Storm Pabuk makes landfall in southern Thailand

Flooded roads in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, southern Thailand, this morning as storm Pabuk approaches land.

The province was lashed with heavy rain last night which caused widespread flooding, with drains unable to cope with the deluge.

While torrential rain and strong winds will affect more than a dozen other provinces, tourist islands of Koh Samui, Koh Tao and Koh Phangan, are expected to be hardest hit.
