University of Oklahoma students hold anti-racism rally after man spotted in blackface on campus

Students at the University of Oklahoma held an anti-racism rally Thursday following reports that a man in blackface was seen on campus.

The incident follows one last week in which a racist video filmed by students from the university went viral – in the clip, a woman is seen putting black paint on a friend and using racist slurs. The students later withdrew from the university and issued a public apology.

This video was filmed around noon. The filmer told Newsflare that students marched from Dale Hall to Evan Hall, where a speech and gathering occurred.

Rallies have been held since to denounce the actions of the students. OU President James Gallogly addressed the incident earlier in the week and confirmed that University officials will review the Code of Conduct.
