US grandmother weeps when surprised with meeting NICU baby great-grandson

A grandmother starts bawling with joy when she is surprised with meeting her baby great-grandson for the first time in Nebraska after he had been put in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The filmer said her grandmother Leona "is my very best friend.. and instead of telling my grandma the good news, I decided to wait until we were home and surprise her in person."

The heartwarming clip, filmed on May 6 in Valentine, shows the journey that the filmer, mother of the baby boy and granddaughter of Leona, took to surprise her grandmother.

The baby, named Bridger, was born prematurely and taken into the newborn intensive care immediately on the day of his birth.
