Vehicles submerged in deep water after heavy rainstorm causes floods in China

Vehicles were trapped on the flooded streets of northern China's Changchun City last Sunday (June 2).

The video shows a group of people trying to push a car to the side of the road after it broke down in the floods.

One man fell over while trying to wade through the water that had submerged the road.

According to reports, it was the strongest rainstorm in the past half-century in the city.

Flood control workers have sped up the process of draining the water away and it has almost been finished. The traffic is back to normal.
