Vietnamese locals partake in hilarious banana tree climbing competition
Festivalgoers in the Vietnamese province of Lao Cai participate in a hilarious banana tree climbing competition.
This festival is usually held in July to September every year in the northern mountainous provinces and people hold a competition to climb banana trees.
People will apply oil to the banana tree trunks to make the contest more challenging, the winner is the one who gets the flag at the top of the tree.
