Volcano erupts in Hawaii
A volcano erupts into the Pacific ocean (September 13) in Pāhoa, Hawaii.
Kīlauea is an active shield volcano in the Hawaiian Islands. It is located along the southern-eastern shore of the island, the volcano is between 210,000 and 280,000 years old. On this day, the volcano erupted into the Pacific ocean.
