Wild bear rescued from 30-foot-deep well after injuring four villagers in eastern India


A wild bear was rescued after falling into a 30-foot-deep well in eastern India.

The bear fell into the well after entering Ravana Batha village in Chhattisgarh state injuring at least four people while searching for food and water.

Footage shows the animal stuck at the bottom of the well and later being pulled out by rescuers using a net and ropes on June 12.

The rescue team then released the bear in a forest nearby.
