Wild Hair Warns of Lightning

Occurred on June 19, 2022 / Tombstone Territorial Park, Yukon, Canada

Info from Licensor: "My brother, his dog and I were hiking the grizzly lake trail in Tombstone Territorial Park. We were hiking for hours and it had been nice and sunny most of the day. Near the end of the trail, it started to rain and the sky went dark. I was ahead of my brother at this point and I heard some buzzing sounds in my hair by my ear. I thought there was some sort of bug or bee stuck in my hair and after some failed attempts to flick it away, I took out my phone to try to find it on video. Once I started the video I noticed my hair standing straight up and realized that meant I was about to be struck by lightning! Shocked and unsure of what to do, I hid by a big rock to wait for my brother to catch up. We were at a summit of a mountain with not much vegetation or anything around to find shelter. Since we were on the way back to the parking lot, we already knew that the trail soon goes very steep downhill so we decided to run down to safety."
