Woman falls into red hot coals during Indian festival
A woman fell into a pit of red hot coals in northern India on Thursday as she took part in an ancient local tradition.
Hundreds of pilgrims walked - or ran - barefoot through the fire pit in Khatipura in Rajasthan state to mark the start of the Holi festival.
One woman, however, tripped as she attempted the short dash and fell into the burning coals.
She was quickly pulled to safety and emerged from the ordeal shocked but otherwise unharmed.
