World's First Hotel to Have Holographic Staff Opens in Tokyo


At a new Tokyo hotel, holographic characters work as receptionists at the Henn-na Hotel Tokyo Asakusa Tawaramachi (August 22) in the Suginami City area.

The name of the hotel, which can be translated to English as, "weird hotel," employs the world's first holographic staff and can attend to guests in English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese, making it easier to host guests during their stay.

The crew behind the magic is a Japanese travel agency called, H.I.S. Hotel Holdings operates the hotel which has 217 rooms and it is set to open September 1st.
