He was already late as his private school started on time and his public school bus was delayed by two hours due to the icy conditions. Unfortunately, he chose to wear his slippers despite his parents urging him to change into boots and get an early start to the road. Fortunately, the kind and resourceful bus driver, Gilberto, took pity on him and came to his aid."
