15-foot-long python scares devotees after slithering into temple in South India


A 15-foot-long python weighing about 150 kg gave devotees worshiping at a temple in Tamil Nadu, located in India's south, a shock when it entered the sacred ground.

After making a report of the incident, fire service officials rushed to the temple and captured the snake. It was later handed over to forest personnel, who released the huge reptile back into the wild.
