Adorable moment duck joins Buddhist monk on his morning walk

This is the adorable moment a Buddhist monk was joined by a duck on his morning walk.

The religious figure in orange robes was collecting donations from residents in Amnat Charoen, northeastern Thailand on March 6.

A duck from a pond near the local temple where the monk lives, waddled alongside him as he walked past homes.

Fawning locals who greeted the monk nicknamed the duck 'Buddy'.

Resident Jiraporn Turaso said: ''The monk had a friend to join him on his morning walk. The duck was so very obedient. I've never seen a duck that is as tame as this one.''
