Alleged scammer scrambles out of ATM after being scared by staff's voice

An alleged scammer was scared by a bank staff's voice on an intercom and scrambled out the roof vent when he was attempting to steal money from an ATM under a duvet in China.

The hilarious video, captured in Lishui City in eastern Zhejiang Province on December 31, 2018, shows a man with a mask and a helmet hiding under a duvet while operating an ATM.

When a bank staff spotted his action on the surveillance camera and warned him through the intercom, the scared man tried to run away but was unable to open the door of the ATM booth.

Finally, he climbs out of the booth through the vent hole on the roof.

Police found a cloned bank card on the floor after they arrived on site. The case was being investigated.
