Amazing footage shows first-person perspective of Switzerland's steepest funicular railway

The Gelmenbahn is the steepest funicular railway in Switzerland, and this is what it's like to be on it.

This time lapse, filmed in June 2018, shows the track taking would-be riders through sharp drops and a 360 of spectacular views.

The Gelmer Funicular is a cable railway in Bern, Switzerland, and was also the steepest funicular in Europe until the opening of the new Stoosbahn located in Schwyz, a canton in the country's northeast, in 2017.
