Australian science teacher makes slightly creepy device to explain pendulums

With the use of some Legos, a loudspeaker and a set of Barbie legs, Australian science teacher Jacob Strickling creates a ingenious but slightly creepy machine to explain pendulums to his students on July 4.

Using a signal generator he is able to match the frequency of the kick to frequency of the pendulum. Strickling’s aim was to illustrate mechanical resonance to his physics class.
