Birdy's day out! Pet parakeet goes for a ride on owner's car steering wheel
This clever bird flew from a gate into a car's open window - then rested on the steering wheel as it drove away.
The tropical parrot named Kimchi followed his mom for the ride in Rayong, eastern Thailand on May 3.
He then perched on the steering wheel as the owner, Patamporn, drove to the shops. She said: ''I saw Kimchi perched on the gate and called him over. It was the end of the day but he wasn't tired. He wanted to go for a drive.’'
