Bizarre funnel cloud appears over Florida highway
A funnel cloud weather phenomenon occurred over the skies of Riverview, Florida on Monday (August 5).
The spout was said to have been close to neighbouring Gibsonton for close to five minutes.
Funnel clouds are rotating funnel-shaped clouds that form the core of a tornado or waterspout.
The filmer commented: "[A] landspout in front of a small cell this afternoon in Riverview.
"[It] lasted about 5 minutes and may have briefly touched down."
