Blind boy, 7, enjoys football match with the help of an interpreter


This is the touching moment a Colombian boy who was born blind celebrates the goal of his favourite football team with the help of an interpreter.

Footage captured during Santa Fe vs Millonarios football match shows the interpreter, Cesar Daza, describing what is occurring on the pitch to the blind boy Juan Sebastian, 7, who is a massive Santa Fe fan.

The match goes on and Santa Fe team scores.

Both the interpreter and the boy burst with joy and hug each other in an emotional scene.

Juan Sebastian was born blind after his mother got poisoned with mercury during her pregnancy.
