Bomb disposal teams secure Bangkok after multiple explosions
Army and bomb disposal teams at the scene at the BTS Chong Nonsi station in central Bangkok, Thailand, this morning (August 2).
Two explosions - one on the platform and one below - happened at around 8:30 am.
There were at least four other blasts at four different locations in the city at the same time.
Several people were injured, included three street cleaners who were hit by ping pong ball bombs in the Phra Ram 9 area, where one device detonated.
