Boyfriend makes surprise proposal in coffee shop as girlfriend goes to buy breakfast

This is the heartwarming moment coffee shop customers handed a woman roses before her boyfriend made a surprise proposal.

Airam Duran, 25, was on her way to buy breakfast when a line of guests outside the shop began each handing her a red rose in Orizaba, Mexico, on March 23.

When the tall brunette followed the chain, she found her boyfriend Arturo Alvarado Jr, 25, on one knee with a ring in his hand.

The romantic boyfriend had even arranged for balloons and music to play when he popped the big question.

Customers cheered when Airam embraced her partner and said yes.

Delighted Arturo said he was grateful for the coffee shop to help him set up the surprise - as well as the customers who had joined in.

He said: "It was a surprise that anyone could not imagine. We didn't know any of these people who supported me to make it possible but they all joined in and did their best."

Even the customers who happened to be there on that day lent their time to be on the plan.

He added: "They were just strangers drinking coffee when I asked out loud if I may have some help."
